Well I bit the bullet and bought a pair of 081s completely remaned for $130.00 a piece. I am using the stock TBI 305 cam, stock TBI intake, headers and some custom tuning. These are going on my .040" over 305 with flattop pistons. Should be a good truck engine as far as torque goes.

Anyone happen to have a bin file for this engine. I have both a 747 and a caprice ECM whatever the number is. I would appreciate a good starting point.

 

I have a stock 91 RS bin if you want it. That uses the 8746 comp which is the same as the 89/90 caprice computors that I have.
