305 TBI to 350TBI

OK guys not to beat a dead horse or anything, Just want it to work the first time. To make this work I need a:

1. 350 Knock sensor
2. 350 EEprom
3. 350 Injectors

Nothing else matters?

Thanks

I would consider a high flow fuel pump as well. I would also look into getting the stuff to burn your own chips. That is unless your 350 TBI is stock and you have the bin file that goes for that motor/ecm.

Motor is stock for now, got it cheap so I just couldn't say no. I still need the bin and the burning software. Can i locate the bin in the DIY forum? Also the TBI I ahve has the Adj regulator on it, so I was just going to bump it up a notch till I got the 350 bin done.

You should be able to find the BIN in the DIY-PROM board, no problem. Just bumping up the pressure might or might not be enough to feed that 350, it will all depend on the condition and age of the fuel pump in your car.

I think you also need a 350 ESC module too, if I remember correctly.

Where is the ESC Module? In the ECU?

I think that the esc module is located on the driver's side firewall in the engine bay. Like right near the brake booster.

Nope, weberflorida is right. Just look right in between the brake booster/master cylinder and driver's side fender. You'll see a bracket with 2 relays in it, and a rectangular box bolted on the front of that bracket with 4 wires coming out of it. That "box" is the ESC module.

Found it.

Now I just picked up a 7747 ECU to go with the new L05. I wont have to mess with the chip yet because I haven't done anything to the motor yet right? Or does the exhaust count?

What have you done to the exhaust? Stock, headers, cat-back?

Either way, a stock PROM will work and the car will be driveable, but it's never to early to start custom tunes.

The car came with Mac headers 1 3/4"primary to a 3"collector, 3" high flow cat, 3" cat back with Mac exhaust.

I must say that it is one of the best sounding stock 305's that I have ever heard.

I really dont want to have to do a custom tune with the stock computers if I dont have to. This winter I'm converting it to a MegaSquirt ECU.

Mac headers should have 1 5/8" primaries.
