disconnecting fuel injector cause code 54?
anyone know if you disconnect 1 or both fuel injector's and turn the key if that will cause a code 54?

I honestly couldn't tell you. Although, if I had to guess, I'd say no, since it seems like the ECM only monitors the fuel pump relay/oil pressure switch to set a code 54, but I could be wrong.
But, are you having any problems with the car? Will it not start, not running well, anything like that, etc.?
EDIT: Found your post on the Tech board. First thing I'd try is to drive the car around for a while, let it warm up to normal temp., and then see what codes pop up, if any.

I was going to do a compression test last night to rule out any internal engine problems, but now I have a dead batter/battery cable it appears. OR some short somewhere. May Be a while, think I better fix the truck instead of throw money at the car since I have no choice but to drive it now.
