ran onto a weiand intake manifold its an action plus manifold part number wnd-8004.

was going to refurbish my motor, i allready have gaskets and everything plus a freshly redone stock intake ready to go.

would this manifold with an adaptor plate be worthwhile to throw on or would it mess with the computer too much? ive got it, either option costs me nothing but im guessing the weiand will take time to set up right.

im not running egr as it is so no harm there,,

also what are the consequences of not running egr on a car with the computer still trying to run it?

EGR can be disabled in bin. mine is. not sure of ramification if you fail to do so. maybe a CE light?

with much greater plenum volume it may require more accelleration enrichment aka pumpshot. cables may need some attention due to adapter plate use .
