good distributer

i was just wondering what would be a good distributer for my car? i am still running the stock one. it is a 91 rs with the 305 tbi.

To be completely honest with you, the stock distributor is a good piece. Just get a new cap and rotor. If you want to replace the ignition module too.

ok, does the stock one have the points? and if i get a new cap and rotor will it have the optical eye thing? i am just trying to upgrade it to something more accurate.

Are you talking about points and condensor-style distributors like older cars have? Our cars don't have that.

Stock replacement stuff will work just fine. When looking for a good cap and rotor, just make sure the terminals are brass. Even companies like MSD and Accel sell direct replacement cap and rotors, as well as other stock replacement ignition parts. Just look for "87-up Small-cap HEI with external coil" stuff, since that's what our cars have.
