my car usually stumbles and goes up and down at idle becasue it needs sum tuning well i put my edelbrock headers to help fix my exhasut leak because of a warped manifold and i didnt know but my o2 sensor was on the header and got melted to it. but i dont know this and take it out wow it lays 10 foot strips if i gun it from a 20 or 30mph roll and spins the tires for 50 feet from a stop so i come home tyo check the bolts and retighten them notcie the o2 sensor is on the pipes i take it off the wires are fine jsut the plastic is a lil melted now it runs like crap again what should i do?

boredomkills -- F7 is your friend. It might be helpfull if you type all of this out in MS Word, then run it thru the spell checker.

From what I got out of that post, my advice is, fix any messed up wires, and get an o2 sensor. When you put it all back together, if need be, get some heat sheilding tape and cover the wires where it might get warm.

weberflorida--he lost me at the title of the thread.

You need to fix the 02 connection and keep it away from the header. Your next step will be chip work.

Only mods have the ability to delete threads. Typically, we dont delete threads (unless there is ZERO tech content) as they form the foundation of the knowlege base here at TGO.
