Ok it has to do with getting a decent set of heads that perform without breaking the bank I use carbs cause the heads that preform great are cheaper and easier to get and for your info I have yet to see a 400hp motor carb or fuel injected that got 30mph i have a 2000 dodge durango with the 5.9 and auto overdrive with 3:93 gears and while it moves out great and is pushing close to 300hp at the crank with very few mods it only gets 13mph on the highway. I also have a 90 chevy with a 355 with 58cc heads and tbi and while it is ok it sure as heck dont get 30mph even on the highway with a 3:08 gear and 235-75-15 tires and I know for a fact its not more then 250 hp as most of it is stock so you show me that 400hp that gets 30mph on the highway I wanna buy it. then I can affored to get my dually truck I want but couldnt affored the gas in.
