They're really a crutch for proper tuning. They can be made to work with major prom tuning, but there is no need for them on anything but certain setups that need big PW for WOT and short PW for idle. You won't be happy with it if your not planning on doing prom work.

What kind of tuning problems are you having?

Not having no tuning problems (for now) was going to get a adj.regulater and done some looking and i thought that that would be the best choice. but if it is going to be a pain to do it with tuning i dont want it lol. so hat would you recomend??

All the TBI AFPRs w/ vacuum can be run w/ or without it hooked up - so vacuum capable should not be a purchase issue

True if you don't mind swapping the spring back to the stock non-adjustable one. You wouldn't want to try running the VAFPR with the spring it comes with (or even my better spring) without hooking up the vacuum source. If you haven't done any major mods to the engine I wouldn't get it. If you've done the LT1 cam swap and headers then go for it. As mentioned already some PROM tuning will still be required to get it running right.

Or, to make sure that "disappointing" doesn't also have to be "expensive", you can make your own:
