Brightly colored graphics are one thing- measuring and folding the sheet metal to make it work is something all together different.

This thread addresses the TBI to TPI transition under the hood.

I have seen everything from 4" corragated drain pipe, to PVC to dryer ducts used to draw in cold air. I could never get used to the way they looked. But, the amount of time I spent measuring and fabricating almost justifies the short cut. In the end, I do not see much noticable gain, but I'm pretty sure it can't hurt. For actual performance gains, increasing displacement combined with tuning is always sure to please.

Re: TPI Cold Air Intake for TBI
Hello 3rd Geners,
I am pretty much new to the forum and was wondering if anyone has tried this air intake setup I found on ebay? Will it even work with our TBI system.
By the way, My lady is a 92 Camaro RS 305 TBI completely stock. Just starting to look around for mods and would appreciate any and all advice.

Hope the link works.
