how many of u do this? noticed any difference? ive been opening up the scoop on my formulas power bulge hood when its nice out and i just put on an open element yesturday 2... i did notice a little bit of a difference..ive gotten a little bit better gas milage..plus u can hear the open element hiss...kinda cool. i KNEW the stock intake was choking my car!

there ant to many runnig power bulge hoods, if you feel a diffrents cool, 80's 3rdgen eara hoods make my chuckle all form no function

 

its functional if u cut the insolation out under the scoop. it goes right over my open element.

 

oh lol, i missed that part "open element" i thot you where still runing the air cleaner lid, that lid and whole system is crap! you'll know what im talking about cuz you had it

 

yup, thats why i got rid of it. it seemed like it was being choked. poor car....
