Q's About Supercharger Setup

Hey guys ive been thinking for a long time about fabing an M90 thunderbird supercharger on my l03 and just putting it in the place of the a/c comp, because i have removed the a/c anyways . But i know mounting and running all the plumbing and intake is all the easy part getting it to run good is the hard part, ive been hearing . But i found this site that has a cog drive supercharger made for tbi and they also offer a custom burned 4 or 6lb boost chip for the setup here is the site the chip info is more to the bottom of the page my Qs is do you guys think i can just use my m90 setup and there chip and it will run right because in theary it is all the same setup just with the thunderbird supercharger and not there's so it should run how they say it should .

also for the extra fuel im going to be needing i was thinking about this system you can set it up to run the injectors off at idle and full spray at boost and u can adjust the flow to fine tune the a/f mixture heres the link

so i think i have a solid setup that should work well do you guys think this will work or am i forgetting anything any advise will be awsome thanks .

Yeah I emailed the guy who owns the company to try to get some info but he has not sent me any yet. I hope to get something back from him soon. I am thinking about going to a accel mpfi and dfi 7 setup so that might work really good with this for me. If i can get any info from the guy who owns the company then I will pass it your way.

Also what is the second link to? Is that some kind of fuel controler or management unit?

Axle/Gears: bunch of 10 bolts how scary is that
Well gonna need slightly bigger injectors im sure. MSD be a good idea. And as always with the TBI PROM burning is gonna be your best friend. Let us know how it goes.

I think the reason you haven't got a ton of answers is that the majority don't know if it will work, and the ones that do know, think that your using alot of bandaids. Sure they might work, but there are better ways of doing it.

Few things that stood out in my mind. One being that our TBI ecm's can't see boost, so just a simple chip reburn isn't going to magically make the ecm boost capable. They are probably just going full rich when you get to 100 KPA and hoping its rich enough to last at higher boost pressures. The add on injector idea is great, but you'll have a hard time making the transition to the extra fuel seemless. This will work fine in a drag situation, or just playin around on the street. Your just not going to get the smooth throttle response of a factory system once your in boost. The "correct" way to do this is to swap to a 749 ecm that can see boost and control TBI, then step up to big enough injectors in the TB to support the power you want. Of course that brings us back to whether or not that two 90 lb/hr injectors will be able to feed the power you want to make.

If you dead set on using TBI for fueling, I would get good at chip tuning, and look into using that add on injector setup, it may be the only way to support over 450HP. The blower will effect the way the engine runs at part throttle, this is where the DIY chip tuning will come in handy. You should know by now we are not a big fan of mail order chips, and wouldn't dream of using one on a wild blower setup.

I didnt mean for it to be like a rigged setup i was just wondering if this would work because if it did then it would be good for all of us because it is cheap hp but even if i bought the $1500 kit from wyanjammer it has to run right because they sell it there not going to sell something that dosent work (i hope ) so i just thought changing the blower wouldnt matter aslong as your running ther same amount of boost , but ill check it out im thinking it might be better just to use NOS and afew bolt ons
