Aftermarket Intake

on the 305 TBI motor, would it be best ( performance wise) to put and edlebrock intake, instead of stock heavy peice of crap..... or convert to TPI or what would you recommend for and intake/injection system? I have all stock bottom end and top end, the only stuff i put on was an MSD billet FULL exhaust system K & N filter and a chip! what would be best

ok well first of all you stock intake isnt any heavier than the edelbrock. they are both aluminum. for what you have you intake isnt restrictive. Seeing how you chip isnt designed for you specific upgrades you would probly see even more gains by just learning to program your own chips. the most restrictive oart of you engine is your cam.

use the search function. im still new here but there is so much info on these boards. iv been searching for weaks now and im still learning. good luck and id stay with you intake for now and do the free tbi mods. they are in the tech articals on the main page. goodluck and welcome to the boards
