it could be alot of things to cause some hesitation is it like a misfire or what?? i would start w/ the simple stuff like o2 sensor, fuel filter, and your timing.

it misfires at times but its only at idle in drive. but the hesitation feel like a fuel problem.

As far as the hesitation, you need to hook a fuel pressure gauge up to it and see what the pressure is when it acts up.
Also, have you tried checking for codes?

i will check the fuel pressure, everytime it happens it seems to be after it is warmed up, and i am starting to drive from a dead stop! its kinda confusing but i replaced the fuel filter, the o2 has to be fine, because im not getting any check engine codes! and it only seems to happen in drive!

IAC
I had the same exact problem ... could be a vacuum leak but .. sounds more like what I had .. IAC
Remove the IAC .. clean it .. lubricate it.. put it back in
MAKE SURE your IAC wire connector is put in the correct way .. if the tab is broken ... one may put it in upside down or 90 degrees off

Had the problem - put a little acetone (1.5oz per 10 gallons) in my tank and it's gone away.
That indicates a fuel problem to me. Look down that path for the answer. The IAC might be a good idea, but mines brand new and had the problem your describing, so I'd say continue to look at fueling.

Fuel lines
Check the fuel lines .... Shifty pointed me to the right direction once regarding that one .... the in line has a white teflon washer ... I replaced my fuel line with one fro mthe junkyard... still and older washer but ... doesn't leak anymore
Also ... these fuel lines have a tendency to get twisted now and then ... due to being hard lines ... check the fuel return line ... may be twisted

How long has it been since the car had a good tune up? Does this problem happen when the car is hot and cold? I too suspect fueling but it could be something simple like a bad CTS or O2 sensor. A bad 02 won't always throw a code but will cause your car to run like poo.
