Wot= 14.5/1 A/f ?

have not ran many WB WOT logs this summer. somewhat due to car in body shop and mechanical issues.

well ran a couple WOT entering xway in safe place. Closed loop. ran second gear WOT for 3 sec duration. AE is evident at about .50 sec duration in log. pulled A/F down to about 14/1. then timed out and for next 2.5 sec was 14.24 up to 15.5 and then ended 14.6/1.

now i have issues with calibration of WB since i placed in a new sensor and may not have calibrated properly. seems to read lean on CL(which may be accurrate) and runs rich on OL(as tuned) at about 13.7-14.5/1 at idle.

running 17.5/1 FP.

i will re calibrate WB and try again. think it is obvious that i need to up FP to 20 lbs? if so my tune goes rich. i suppose i could drop all fuel tables globally to compensate. seems to want more and more gas.

Sucks making power doesn't it..........well I wouldn't know.

I'm running 20 psi with 70 lb/hr injectors and crappy heads, I would imagine you would need 20 psi or so to feed your aluminum headed monster.

Yeah sucks trying to feed these engines. My Ford frame mounted fuel pump is just now having trouble keeping up. Well at the track last night, at about 5,500 it started popping but made it to 5,800 and shifted, then popped some more. It only made a 9.890 @ 69.08 breaking up going down the track. You should have heard it, played with it some more but the pump is now too small. Must be dropping below the 32 PSI I have been running. But then again I am making 272 RWHP corked or 300 RWHP uncorked, using 305 injectors.

I am running 18 psi with my 454 injectors - 17.5 was not enough. my afr is a steady 12.6 through second and third according to my wide band. I believe my zeitronix wb is ready a little on the lean side.

With your set up I can see needing 20 psi.

Fast, are you sure your injectors aren't going static? Thats exactly how my motor would act when they would go nuts. I've run 78 mph in the 1/8th with that exact pump with no problems.

I'm running about 69 in the 1/8 with alot more weight. I read your post back a while ago, have put in the data to get the pulsewidth out of the PROM ID on WINALDL. I then calculated it out and compared it to the RPM calculations there. I should have fuel until 7,000 and 350 FWHP. I doubt that 305 injectors running at 32 PSI are going static. Maybe I should switch to the 350 injectors I have laying around, retune, and try again.
