Trouble Code 54
Hello,
I have a 1993 buick roadmaster with a 350 tbi in it. Lately it has been throwing out the trouble code 54 which is "Fuel pump voltage was not present at fuel pump sense line for 2 seconds after the ECM has sent the fuel pump on command." My car has also been blowing black smoke on startup. Could this be because of this trouble code? I looked at what i think is the fuel pump relay under my hood on the rear passenger side of my car and I noticed that there is a red wire coming off the relay but is not plugged in anywhere. I do not know where the wire goes and I can't seem to find it anywhere. The wire is short so i'm thinking the other part of the plug should be somewhere close.
