as for as i know it is impossable. i have never heard or seen one for a tbi. i am pretty sure you would have to go with tune port.

After doing alittle research, you dont need to go with a tune port to put a supercharger on a tbi. WhippleSupercharger make superchargers for GM 1989-1995 5.0/5.7 TBI engines. Heres there linkWhippleSuperchargers Check it out

I built a weiand supercharged 310 that ran a 12.9 @ 107.8 shifting at 4,500 rpm. 3.73 gears and a T-56 though. The dyno numbers were right at 300 RWHP @ 4,500 and 365 ft/lbs @ 3,000 in 4th gear. Lightly worked over 193 swirl ports and the stock vortec/B-body LT1 cam.

I wanted to do the same thing...something I'm thinking about (give it some thought) is the universal carbureted small block supercharger kit from Vortech. It could probably work with little to no modification.
Just a thought.......

That's what makes me VERY interested in this TBI S/C setup

Weiand makes a 50 state legal version of the 142 complete with EGR valve for both the carbed and TBI SBC. The difference is the intake and a carb-tbi adapter.

Hows the hood clearance with the weiand kit, looks like a close fit.. due to the fact you have to put the tbi unit on top of the weiand supercharger where as the whipple supercharger is not on top of the charger.... I would go with the whipple since iv had some experience with whipple and they are good super charge system...

The RS that has an identical blower on it had a 4" cowl hood on it to make room.
The blower will fit under the stock engine cover on the G20. The TBI is almost 1.5" shorter than a carb and the adapter is only about 1" tall.
This is a carbed supercharged 434 I saw on ebay a while back.

How about using the carb supercharger and getting the adapter plate for TBI. Than use the weiand chip.
It should work!
I mean whipple chip!

Re: how do i put a tbi on a supercharger?
I worked on a truck with a Whipple SC once and there is one thing you need to watch out for. We had problems with the engine not getting enough fuel on acceleration. If we added enough Acceleration Enrichment, the problem would lessen, but then we had a post acceleration bog and black smoke out the exhaust pipe until the engine cleared all of the extra fuel out of the intake. The folks at Whipple told us this was something they know about and have seen and recommended that an Edelbrock port injection TBI intake be used. We suspected and were told by Whipple that the problem was caused by the much greater lag time of the fuel getting to the heads (relative to the air) because it has to travel through the supercharger. We tried the Edelbrock port injection kit and it worked, but that cost was quite a bit more than the original expectation.
We also had a truck with a Pro-Charger and had better success. It blows the air through the TBI unit and I suspect is the reason that a "normal" acceleration enrichment worked with it. If I had to choose, the Pro Charger (if they still make it) would be much easier to make work with minimal tuning.
Just another man's opinion...
