is this tbi unit good??
i just bought a tbi unit for a spare from a member here and was unaware but someone has tried to perform the ultimate tbi mods on it and didnt do a good job imo...it isnt grounded even where they took the ridge off some parts are ground just a hair lower than the normal surface then where it goes into the bore before it starts straight down there are some scratches grind marks etc...on that little 45 degree type edge where it makes the transition into the bore. is this goin to hurt anything?? ill try and get pics up if i can. i can clean it up some if its usable but just wanna know if its a waste of time and money first. thanks

What you have described won't hurt anything. I would only be concerned if there were scratches where the throttle plates touch the sides of the bore. Everything can be sanded out with a little elbow grease and a steady handy.

no the elbow grease wont be necessary i purchached a eletric die grinder and rpm controller to do the heads i got and i have unlimited carbide burs, flap wheels, sanding discs, and stones...well not unlimited but enough for this job anyway.
