looks pretty good but if your using stock heads thats too much lift. many say stock heads are good for up to 480 lift but many dont recomend pushing to much over .450

This cam
1.6 pro mag rockers
edelbrock tbi intake
msd 8.5 wires
coated 2055`s
and of course lots of chip work
what do you guys think this would run?

I didn't implie that you where, but if you keep insisting i guess i concur.... haha anyways have you looked into any other cams?
that cam you have in mind now looks like it will pull nicey to 4,600 rpms and will most likey die after 5,000rpms, max TQ should be around the 3,000rpm range but most likey will dip after 3,500....
all in all it looks like its a desent pick

what kinda pistons will u be using and will those heads need to be milled cause u may be worried about valve slap if your not careful w/ that lift and 1.6 rockers. and u will probably need to have the heads machined to accept larger springs.

they shouldn`t need to be milled because they are 305 tpi heads.as far as getting they heads machined for bigger springs that doesn`t bother me.as far as pistons i know i`m going to get hell for this but i`ve been seriously considering the stroker kit.i figure i can get into the 13`s with it.because this engine isn`t going to stay in this car ,i`m building it to go in my 92 when i`m finished with it.i don`t plan on making all out power in my 92.it`s pretty much going to be my show car.the biggest reason is to learn and i`m planning on an lt1 swap when i am fininshed with the 305.also the engine is very low mileage like only 30k so why ditch it.

I think that cam looks pretty good personally. I like it. From experience, I'm running a ZZ4 cam (208/221 .474/.510) with 081 heads and I like that cam. Got it to idle real smooth, driveability is good and it should pull good up top.

But unlike you, i am stupid and didn't get screw-ins, so i pulled studs haha. Pulling the heads in 2 weeks though to fix it up.

as far as the heads go i finally found a web site that carries them www.adccylinderheads.com. They`ve got about every heads you can find and they`re pretty cheap ,200 a head with a three angle valve job. the biggest kick is they only charge 10 shipping per head. http://www.adccylinderheads.com/site/792044/page/292940

Id say thats a decent cam. If your using 1.6's, then you definatly should verify how much lift the heads can handle. Youll want around .060" of clearance between the retainer and the guide/seal at max lift as an allowance for valve float or anything like that.

1.6 ratio rockers put you at around .523" of lift at the exhaust. Might be a bit much for a stock head.
