In going crazy trying to figure out the strange surging i got when i do a warm start and put the car in reverse.

after logging with winaldl i get a knock count of ~10- ~27 or so which i assume is the starter but after that shouldnt the KS return to 0?
it just then continually scrolls that same number 12 15 whatever and doent increase or decrease is this normal?
or does the KS always count up till it gets to 255 then reset

It just increments until 255 and rolls back over to 0 (or past if knocks are happening).
