305 tbi - 350 tbi Help!!
I have done a search but can't seem to find the info i'm looking for. I am swapping a complete 350 tbi engine into my 88 camaro that originaly had a tbi 305. The tbi 350 has a very mild cam and headers could i do the swap and buy a aftermarket chip for a 350? I know prom burning would be better but it seems too complicated. Any information or advice is welcome.

Axle/Gears: bunch of 10 bolts how scary is that
Some people have had good luck with mail ordered PROM chips but the majority have had problems. PROM isnt to hard to learn just read the PROM forum as much as you can. It will most likely be cheaper to buy the PROM burning equipment then to buy a mail ordered PROM.

Thanks for the info. I have the truck that the tbi 350 came out of. Are the ecm, prom etc. interchangable? Thanks again

Actually, Brian from TBIChips lives in Archdale. You're in luck.
He can tune it for you.
