cleaning ?
what is the best thing to clean a tb with.I mean i figure tb cleaner but i want some diff opinions than just mine...its off the vehicle and about to undergo the tbi upgrades.

I just use carb cleaner. Just watch the sensor openings, I try to stay away from them when spraying.

In addition to what Bron mentioned I would use a soft toothbrush. Keep carb cleaner away from the TPS and if you get any on the IAC make sure to put a drop of fresh oil on it. Other than that just scrape out the old funk and gasket material. It may be a good time to to a complete TBI/vacuum line rebuild.

thanks guys i plan on replacing all sensors and doing a complete rebuild on it..what happens if i get cleaner on the sensor openings?...thanks again

Nothin' if you're replacing them. By "openings" i meant the electrical connections. You should be good to go though cleaning it up and putting new sensors on it.
