TBI Problems

I have a '92 Firebird with the TBI 305. On my car there is a low end stumble, and it feels a little down on power through the rpms. I replaced the alt/cat/muffler/bat/flter/tires/02/oil/tranny fld/plugs. Does it sound like a dying fuel pump to yall?

It certainly could be. Might be a good idea to install an inline pressure gauge and see what its putting out under load.

If it's not something that is just blatantly obvious, or the obvious seems to not be the problem, then the first thing to check is always fuel pressure. I've had the beaten into my head since I started fooling with EFI.

I've checed the fuel pressure once, and it was fine then, but I think it might be a "once and a while" kinda thing. Does this sound like a dying fuel pump?

I've got the similar problem and I replaced almost everything.

New pump and ECM are going in.

ECM monday, pump over the weekend.

I'll let you know how it goes.

ECM in and NOTHING, just a bit better than before.

Relocated the coil... NOTHING

Must be the pump.
