Can't be real!

I was searching and found this on the internet. Is it even possible. To me it looks like a 350 caprice motor with an edelbrock intake.

That motor isn't worth $2700 when you can get a new GM LO5 longblock for $1500 or a new GM L98 shortblock for $1100.

i was mostly asking if it is possible to get 350 horse out of a cammed l05. That seems a bit farfetched. I have a cammed l05 and am no where near that. This is with a custum tune.

It's probably not even like a Caprice LO5, it says it has 76cc heads on it, it's probably much like a low compression goodwrench 350 with a TBI intake on it. I'm sure those numbers are exaggerated, I'd be curious what the casting numbers of the heads are though.

It is possible. Check out the recent posts from Fast355. His 350 TBI is making some serious power. A quick PM to him may also help.

I don't know how much porting he did. And, your right, without proper computer work, you won't make that. If you are affraid of you computer, be content with 170hp, or buy a carb.

Who had almost 300 hp with stock unported heads, on a 305.
