Stalling during decel

IH 345, 1 7/8 bore TBI, manual transission, idle set at 700 rpm and idles in open loop
I do NOT have a VSS.
Before I buy one I want to know if this will cure the problem of if this can be cured in the programming.
Any way. If I am cruising down the street and come up to a light or stop sign and push the clutch in at 1600 or more rpm as the engine comes to idle rpm it goes all the way to stall saver (set 300 rpm lower than idle for 4 wheeling purposes) then stall saver kicks in and the engine comes to a normal idle. The engine doesn't stall but would if it wasn't for the stall saver program. This does NOT happen if I push the clutch in at 1100- rpm or so. I have tried richening up the VE #1 table at lower Kpa tables to try to prevent this but haven't had much success and the WINALDL program says I am at about 121 BLM rich in this area now.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Darrell

My BIN is based off of the ASDU BIN. Althought I have compared all parameters in both CATS and the much more indepth Tuner PRO RT programs to several GM bins for 5.7l manual transmissioned trucks. SO since I have modified this chip to my engines needs and my driving needs you could say yes...but since it isn't working as I want then you could say no...
