how to swap injectors?
I did some searching around but didn't come up with anything about how to change out the actual injectors, just tpi swap threads....
Anyhow, I have some new injectors on the way. I'd like to know what to do to change out the injectors in my TBI. Any special tools? I took a quick look with my air cleaner lid off, but I'm not sure how those suckers come out of there!? Your help is greatly appreciated

When you take the air cleaner off you should see the injector pod that holds the two injectors, and there should be about 6 torx screws on the top. Take those out but watch where they come from some are longer than others, once the screws are out take the top of the injector pod off. You might need to pry a little if it has never been off before, and you will probably need a new gasket for it. Once removed, pry the injectors out, they are real tight in the their slots. What i do is get a flat head screw driver and put the und under the lip in the center of the top of the injector between the two electrical prongs (do not damage those) and get leverage some where else on the throttle body and pop those suckers out. make sure you pay attention when taking them out, there are two o-rings and a metal ring for each injector. note where and how they go on. Now for installation, there is a little post on the bottom of the injectors, this post will line up with a little notch in the cup where you took the injector out of, make sure when you put them back in that the little post goes into that notch, when putting them back in the seal will be tight and you might have to use some force to pop them back in. Then just reinstall the top of the injector pod and tighten everything down. Good luck!

yes they pretty much just pop out, and be careful when putting back in that you dont mess up the o-rings or smash them, good luck
