tbi sensors

im doin a tbi to 350 carb swap in my 91 fire bird.i dont know what sensor is what on the block and whenever i put the new motor in i will just hook up the harness to everything that will hook to and whatever is left over i will just tie up somewhere.but the problem is i got rid of the old motor with all the sensors on it.i know i need the oil pressure sensor, water temp sensor on the manifold.there were 2 more water sensors on the block(at least i think ther were water sensors) and knock sensor(i know i dont need that anymore).i know one of the sensors on the block is a switch for the fan?correct?well what is the other one?i think one of them has a connection style kinda like the knock sensor with just one pin.

im just trying to make sure all of my gauges will work correctly.

I believe the other sensor is the temperature sending unit. It is located on the driver's side above/around cylinder #1 spark plug. Think you got the rest other than the oil pressure switch/sending unit, etc.

Good luck!

The sensor in the Driver's side head is the temp gauge sensor.
The sensor in the Pass side head is the fan switch

well what about the one on the front of the intake manifold next to the thermostat?i thought that one was for the gauge.
also is there another one besides the oil pressure sensor?dctrumpet you said something about an oil pressure switch/sending unit?

Sensors:

Top of manifold near thermostat housing is the coolant temperature sensor it is about $10-$11 at Advance Auto.

Driver's side block are the temperature sending unit right above/around plug #1 and the oil sending unit above/near the oil filter.

Passenger side block: Knock sensor bottom/side of block and the fan switch.

I think that is all of them. The only block sensor that you need to worry about that is different to the 350 tbi is the knock sensor and you were correct with the GP Sorensen KS6 part number.

Be sure that your ESC module matches the knock sensor. It is GP Sorensen part number EL605 I think.

Injectors are 800-1807N GP Sorensen. I believe they are 61# injectors and NOT NOT NOT 55# as i was told by a sales person.

If you look for parts for your car the best match is a 1990 Chevy Caprice 350 tbi. EXACT match for what you will need.

Need anything else please drop me a line.
