4-71 blower

I have been looking for anyone that has rebuilt an old 4-71, 6-71, 8-71 blower from an old detroit into the gas application. Plus provide a like or site that the parts can be purchased from. I had a core given to me and want to get it converted. Any help is appearicated. Since what I have found is very limited and of no use. The information provided with be great.

I have heard of this being done before...however from what I understand it will be alot more expensive and time consuming trying to convert a blower from a 6-71 (or any diesel blower) to an automotive application. the guy I heard taking about it is very educated and has been hot rodding for years (in other words he knows his sh..stuff )

I could be wrong but I think BDS does conversions. Blower Drive Service: We Deliver Horse Power! - Blower Drive Systems, Blower Kits, Blower Cams, Custom Carb Service
