You can either put the breather filter back on the breather tube using your stock breather, letting it stand freely, or you can purchase an aftermarket one and replace the breather tube with it.
Thats the thing i'm not sure but i beleive so. It's from our official Open element mword guide

Example of a valve cover breather (Summit)
The next question is what did you do with the IAC?
Does this replace the tube from the left (facing the engine from front) valve cover that hooked into the old air cleaner?

Ahh duh. I'm too used to seeing an engine sit on a stand... You know the diameter of that hole because I bought an 1-1/4 I beleive and I can already see its going to be too big.

I would love to know what size that hole is, ive been trying to figure it out for 6 months now. I want one of those push in breathers, but im stuck with a cheap piece until i find one.

The diameter is 3/4 inch. I know that the Mr. Gasket breather that has the 3/4 inch diam. neck has a huge grommit around it, which makes it impossible to fit. So keep in mind that you may need to purchase a smaller grommit along with the new breather (incase the grommit that comes with the breather is too big).Originally Posted by 90CamaroTBI

Talk about hitting nails on the heads before you even know the nails are there... I had to buy a new grommet after I bought a Mr.Gasket breather...

Ok I'll chime in here cause I just finished my set up 15 mins ago
I purchased a 1" grommet from Summit. I measured twice, and came up with a 1" hole in my valve cover, not 3/4. So if he came up with 3/4 and I came up with 1" you might want to measure yours to be completely sure.

This should take you directly to what I purchased.
