Help! TBI to carb to TBI. Jeez.
Bought (for my son) a 88 firebird 305 TBI yesterday from an idiot (ok, so what does that make me for buying it from him?).
He took off the original setup and stuck on a Holley 625, fuel regulator (hacksawed the hard lines while he was at it), intake, and HEI distributor. Course it never did run right after he did this so I got a pretty good deal. Would not run at idle, probably running to rich. Went and picked up all the gaskets today and me and my son started to swap everything back to original. He basically butchered the vaccum lines, I don't have the original air cleaner assembly, and he hacked up some of the harness wires. The wires aren't that much of a problem, I can fix them. All the vaccum and smog crap I don't have a clue about. I'm not that great with diagrams, does anyone know of where I can view some pics of a similar setup as mine? That would be most excellant.
