I was wondering if anybody can help me find the specs of that cam. it idols exceptionally high and strugles to stay running when in gear and not moving.like i said i cant find the sweet spot in the timing. any help From those TBI masters on here?????

Maybe finding an L05 chip, or computer and chip would be a good start going from 305 to 350. May run better but not optimum depending on cam.

Apparently that cam is a stock truck replacement cam ('69 through '95). I found it on some web-site that sells Melling cams (search +Melling +cam +"CCS-2"). What did you use for the TBI unit? If it is still the stock 305 unit then you need to either increase the fuel pressure or replace the injectors with larger ones. Can then get into chip tuning, or use a 350 chip and hope for the best.

RBob.
