Few questions for TBI
Ok I want to install an autometer air/fuel gauge on my 1992 camaro 305 TBI. How will I have to set it up ( I have an open element on it if that makes a difference in the installation)? Also will underdive pulleys make a big improvement in a hp gain?

I also wanted to know if I could intall a fuel pressure regualtor. Would I see any hp gains? And how do you install one.

The A/F ratio gauge gets its signal from the O2 sensor. Usually people mount them in an A-pillar pod (also made by Autometer). You having an open element will not affect the guage at all.
As for the fuel pressure regulator, you can easily make the one already on your car adjustable. There should be a tech article about that on the main page. If you do this mod, it would also be prudent to put an inline 0-30 psi pressure gauge. You could pick up some hp if yours came lean from the factory. And I stress could.

Ok I really want to find out how I can adjust my fuel pressure. Also if I install the gauge in the 02 sensor loaction how is the enigne sappose to know what the a/f ratio is. So do I just tap a seperate hole for it?

If so, the wire coming from that guage splices into the wire coming from the O2 sensor. It's simply picking up the signal from that wire and displaying it in pretty colors.
Or are you talking about something with it's own sending unit?

Keep in mind your stock O2 sensor is only good for 14.7 to 1 AFR, it will just tell you that it's richer than this point or leaner. Completely useless for setting your FP. It'll pretty mucy just sit there and sweep back and forth.
