Timing my TBI

Transmission: 700 R4
Axle/Gears: peg leg
Timing my TBI
What do i have to unplug to time it? I tried searching but cant find the answer.

You have to unplug the ESC, the plug is a brownish wire, located on the passanger side strut tower.

with the car off, un-plug the ESC connector. Start the car, use a timing light, time it to the desired base timing (stock is 0*, I like 4*). Turn the car off, reconnect the ESC. You will likely want to uplug the battery now, to clear the computer, otherwise you will get a ESC SES Light. Reconnect battery , start car, and you are done.

I found the best results with 4* advanced base timing. Above that and I actualy started to slow down at the track. The heads on our cars, do not need much timing, to perform at their best.
