Starting problem, help please.

I have a 1990 RS TBI, 350. The car turns over, but doesn't fire up sometimes. If i spray some starting fluiding in the TBI unit. It fires up and runs like a champ. Does anyone know, what could cause the injectors to not want to pump fuel on start, kinda tired of spraying starting fluid to get it crunk.

Fuel pump? Vats system? Both of these have given me the same symptoms...

Ok before anyone shoots me I've owned 3 3rd gens. Anyway I had a Ford F-150 with similar issues. Turned out the fuel pump relay was going bad. Worked at times, and others, it didn't. For $15 its worth a try.
Located on your car.. On the firewall drivers side. The 2 relays are identical, its the one on the inboard side.

Hope this helps.
Plus I've just changed mine after washing my car
