I am looking for a 305 shortblock for my 89 Firebird TBI... will a block that originally came with non centerbolt head work for me? I know the heads will bolt on and everything but I need to know if there is any sort of sensor or whatnot attached to the newer blocks that an older block wouldnt have.

Thanks, I talked to Street Lethal and he has set me straight in what will and wont work with my setup and I think I have found my solution. Now if I just didnt have to work all the time I would have far more time to work on cars. I need a sponsor.
