There was a guy on here who was hosting a "TBI registry" a few years ago. It had mods and times or hp/tq ratings. I think the best I've seen on here is low 12's with nitrous . . . 13 flat n/a if I recall correctly.

Ben73 has run a 12.43 NA with a 383. I do believe some people have gone much faster with forced induction or N2o. I believe there are lots of people who have done it with 4-barrel units.

first time to the track with my 4000 lb malibu wagon, I got a 13.9 NA run, still have some tuning to do, no slicks, and have to get the n2o straitened out.

Brian did a good job and I still recommend him for people who just want to get their car running. If they can take it too him, all the better. Senior Member

sounds cool...i love fast wagons! had a buddy with a 540BBC and a D3R procharger and air-water intercooler...it was EFI too! with drag radials and stock style suspension...went 8.60's and looked like bonestock wagon, other than the 3" cowl hood...and the parachute mount was removable so he could just go down the street and noone was the wiser...except for the ridiculous exhaust note and blower whine...made me fall in love with those things. i'd like to make a two door malibu wagon one day. that's gonna be one of Walter Racecraft's projects...and it'll be quick too

That would be cool. I've owned a few over the years. I have thought about a 2 door, just haven't had the time. I have toooo many cars and projects as it is.
