Timming Advance Comp Cams XE249
Timming Advance Comp Cams XE249
Hi
I just install a cam XE249 206º intake .050, 112LSA, 0.434" in my 350TBI. I have MSD cap, rotor, spark plug MSD, split-fire, fan flex-a-lite, TB std. My question is how degree need it new cam. Idle smooth with OEM chip.
With spout connected 12º (i believe 8º OEM table plus 4º cam perfomance)

Try setting it somewhere between 0* and 6* with the timing wire disconnected. 12.5 PSI is probably about right for that cam.
