parts about to go in car, mild tuning ?s
in a few days, i'll be bolting quite a few parts onto my lo3
-hooker shorties w/ y-pipe (not the 2055's, 2046's i believe)
-performer intake
-730cfm tb (similar to the turbocity one)
-75#/hr injectors
-lt1 cam
-160* thermostat and fan switch
-march underdrive pullies
-tbichps.com chip
i'll be burning my own chip once i get back (i'm currently deployed), but i want to be able to drive the car with these mods when i get home, so the chip will have to do. i'll be in tx, so if anyone with the equipment want's to help me tune it, i'd buy you dinner. any takers?
anyway, i have a few questions before having my car sent to the shop-
1)what should i have the fuel pressure regulator set to? should i crank it and have the chip tuned to that? or leave it stock, have the chip tuned to that, and wait till i can get home and play with it myself? i just dont want to lean-out the system too bad. esp. with my advanced timing
2)can i use 1.6 ratio rockers with the lt1 cam and an engine thats stock aside from above mentioned mods.
3)will this put me in the 13's w/ 3.73 gears, spohn suspension bits, and koni yellows?
4)anyone else have any suggestions before she hits the shop?

that's a whole lot to change all at once and expect it to run decently but, imo briand at tbi chips can come up with something a little closer than the stock paramaters to run it but, i find it very hard to beleive it would be fun to drive at that point. Btw about 1.6 rocker arms if you used them with the lt1 cam be pretty carefull on how much lift your pushing stock heads onlycan maintain about .480 lift at the rockers without potential big problems.

what if i leave off the 75lbhr injectors? the lt1 itself shouldnt be hard to build a chip for w/ just the headers and intake, should it? and it would take just a few minuites to drop in the injectors before i tuned it myself.
