383 TBI
Ok I have a question here that Im sure somebody here can help me out with. This engine going in a F-body but a 90 K1500 P/U. Here is what I have so far. Prepped 383 with Eagle rotaing assembly, New stock Vortec heads (.450 lift), 10:1 compression, Eldbrock performer intake, adapler plate and Holley 670 Tbi. This truck is an off road toy with 35" tires. I was planning on running a Comp Cam Xtreme Energy with 206/212 duration @ .050 and .434/.444 lift with a 112 lobe separation. Is this cam right for my application?? Too Big?? Also will the Holley Tbi give enough fuel? I was working off the HT383 but adding a little compression and cam. Tell me what you think.

The holley 670 has the capability of feeding your motor, but it won't magically feed it the correct amount of fuel and air. You'll have to get into DIY chip tuning to have any chance of getting this thing to run up to it's potential. Check out the stickies here on this board and on the DIY prom board for more info.

Yeah I am getting into chip burning soon because of my TPI build so I will be able to to both soon. I know it will not be at full potential but it should run with a stock tune untill I learn a little more about chip burning. Right? Thanks for the info
