chips for tbi?
Are there chips out there for 305 tbi's? If so, how much and how much performance difference do they make? Where can I get one?
Thanks

I've got the Hypertech Thermomaster in my car. This chip sux, don't even bother. I've heard good things about the Jet Stage II chips...

Yeah, I happen to agree, the only thing I have noticed that the Hypertech chip did for me was knock the operating temp down when I installed the 160 thermostat with it. Try the Jet chip out.

I just recently put in a Performance Resource chip, and it seems to make the car run a lot better. (www.performanceresource.com) They recommend nothing lower than a 180* Thermostat. They run $150. Only bad thing i have noticed is that when I start my car after its cooled down for awhile, when i throw it into drive and floor it, the engine hesitates to where if i kept flooring it, the car would stall.. which it did tonite when i put it in 2nd gear (Auto Trans) and floored it, my car just flat out stalled. After warming up for 5-10 mins it does just fine when i put the pedal to the metal DOES ANYONE know why this happens?

1 888 car chips, super chips of longwood florida. they do custom burn chips. they will send you an info sheet to fill out about your engine and whatever mods you've done. they're not cheap, but they are good. they advertise in CHP.
