alright,

the motor is set at at 6 deg base timing. the motor feels very weak out of the hole but does pick up as the motor revs. used to with my modded 305 i could smoke the tires until i let off, now im lucky if i even get a chirp. i first got the 350 holley 670 but it was way too rich even with the fuel pres. at 6 lbs. i sent it back and got the 305 holley and it really helped, now the pressure is at 13 lbs. if it is the chip do you know of anyone that can help. i talked to fastchips and they acted like it was a hassle for them to take my money. they didnt want to know about my motor, cam, heads, nothing. performance resource was the same way. i know that burning your own is the way to go but i dont have the equip.

thanks pablo

it needs tuning (obviously)
the pump shot will definately be too small, and the injectors, if the yare 305 sized, wont be able to feed your motor. You need a custom chip. The equipment can be had for LESS than what youd pay to buy a chip from any of those companies, check out the prom board there is a post there detailing pretty much all you need to know to get started.

for now, definately bump up your timing, bring it up to about 12 degrees, it should feel alot better.. it will probably want even more than that
play around with the timing youll definately see an improvment there

your combo should lay rubber easily (obviously)
get an LED o2 meter, and watch what it does, and get a vacuum gauge and tell me what it idles at.
