cool fan switch help!!!

hey guys i just recently picked up a used thermomaster chip for a good price. It was a chip from a 91 camaro rs with a 305 tbi, i have a 92 firebird with a 305 tbi. I wanted to make sure that this was compatible with my car? Also i need to install a 160 deg. thermostat and a cool fan switch. I am almost a complete novice with mechanical work, but i have pretty much figured out how to replace the thermostat. I really have no clue where the fan switch is and how i would go about replacing, could u guys offer me some help? Also what brand of fan switch do you recommend?

Thanks guys, i appreciate any help you can give this novice

the fan switch is on the passenger side cylinder head between the last two spark plugs, youll most likely have to get it from the bottom with an open end wrench

thermostat is self explanatory, and welcome to the wonderful world of hotrodding
