pablo or whoever, you were saying in another post that the turbo city adapter plate was no good and that you replaced it with the holley. what is the difference? just different positioning of the throttle body i am assuming. let me know...i have the turbo city adapter and want to knwo if i am missing out on something.

I originally had the holley adapter
but it looked stupid to me in the way it was designed
it has the throttle body set at the FRONT of the manifold, and has the holes drilled sort of like a curved back angle slightly toward the back
i ran it for a few days and everytime i looked at it i thought WTF? how does that promote good fuel distribution
so i called up turbo city, and they make a steel adapter which is basically just a plate that centers the TB on the mounting surface (it looks like it was made on a band saw) so i was like hey great and i gave the holley adapter back to the person i was borrowing it from
and since then i think i can trace all of my problems to that swap
i now know why the holley is designed the way it is, the tb blads direct ALOT of fuel to the rear cylinders at part throttle because it drips off the back of the blades
this fuel that drips off doenst atomize at all
my problem is that this fuel is droppign off to the rear of the manifold and causing the rear plugs to be slightly wet fouled and giving me a miss when the car is cold and the plugs havent reached operating temp.. it takes a rew WOT blasts to get the car running good again and pullig the plugs, my rear plugs are WAY WAY WAY richer than my front plugs
ive decided to get a holley throttle body adapter again
