Hey man, I was lookin at your car at your website. Pretty nice ride. Funny thing is that my name is Eric too and we have almost the exact same mods on our 305 tbi's. Except you have that intake manifold. How did u like that? Feel a difference? I am not really interested in buying one but I am just curious cause some people say that don't do much. I Thought I would rather hear it from someone who actually has one instead of rumors. By the way, I think your car is sweet. Like the cowl hood and the engine looks real clean.

This is what he said.
What everybody said is right. I noticed nothing when I put on the new manifold. This may be because of several reasons. I noticed some BIG gains when I put my gears in. It brought everything else alive it seemed like. The bad part is that I did the manifold and the gears at the same time. I can't tell now. The other thing is that the car was never timed after the manifold was put in. I may be retarding my timingand not knowing it. Plus I am still running stock plug gap. If I timed it, put in plugs with the proper gap, and put in a posi unit I bet I could drop my times from 9.4- 9.5 to 9.2-9.3 (The track I race on every week is only an 1/8 mile track...I am currently FIRST in the points battle however!) My aren't coated. I wish I would have but I had a hard enough time getting them in as it is. How the hell did you get yours to drop in There????? Let me know about your troubles and trials too. maybe I would learn from you. I would realy like to know about your TBI spacer. Did it help in times any? Pull harder? How did you bend the fuel lines to get them to go on right? THe manifold is 1/4 inch higher than the stock one and I had the hardest time just butting the fuel lines back on! That took almost 3 hours!! Write me back soon. See ya

I wasn't excluding you guys! I just didn't think that anyone else would want to hear what I have to say. I get to check the TBI board every couple of days now. If you don't see me you can e-mail me like Eric said.
