I feel stupid asking, but can I just buy the headers or do I have to buy the "Y" pipe to go with the headers? What Companys? Oh its a 92 305tbi Firebird.

Yes you must buy a Y-pipe. Most headers come with this, edel TES, Slp,Dynomax. The stock pipe probably wont hook to aftermarket headers. Besides it increases the flow alot why get headers just to bottle neck it. Get a full exhaust sytem, headers, ypipe, high flow cat and catback.

 

i had edelbrock headers on my car until i just put my slp stainless set on this week (they are SWEET!). they both came with a y-pipe. i think that most companies come with the y-pipes for our cars because they are all designed so specifically due to the lack of space.
