350 I assume, really either way, with that cam et all 68#ers. Then play with the preasures to get the right fuel for you. Also might start thinking custom chip (this now goes with almost everything it seems to me).

I have recently learned that all the supposed 65#/hr injectors are really 68s. There is no 65 according to Turbo City, the 350 cops had 68lb/hr, and so on.

Call Holley and ask them to exchange your injectors out for the 65lb/hr injectors. I had the same problem with my 350 when I first got the TB unit from Holley. They agreed to ship the injectors and that I would ship the old ones back to them when I recieved the #65 injectors. I had no more rich condition with the lower rated injectors and I also stopped fouling spark plugs. Don't let them try to tell you that you need to pay for the new ones b/c they shouldn't have shipped the TB units with the 85 injectors in the first place. Geeeezzzz, I thought after 4 years Holley would have corrected this issue but it looks as if they could care less about correcting these simple issues...they are right and the customer is always wrong is what their motto should be! Good Luck and don't let them screw you on the injector exchange!

Have you removed the metal tab covering the Fuel Pressure adjustment screw on the Holley TB yet? If not remove it so when you get the new injectors you can adjust the Fuel pressure accordinally. This won't help with the 85lb/hr injectors because they are too BIG.

Probably too big without new heads and a reprogrammed prom.
It is my understanding that higher pressure with smaller injectors is better, when you need more fuel, but the next injector is just too much.
This, as a apposed to larger injectors and lowering pressure.

Maybe try 55lb/hours. Part number here. I soon will have the delco book, and will be crossreferencing into gms computer for applications.(Which is how the dealership lists their parts, this will also give me flowratings for the unknown pn#s.) https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/000255.html

Snuf,

Any word on price/availability of that new Rochester 2" TBI assembly for me, yet??? PLEASE?????? Trying to find one has held my project(s) back sooooo long that it is really cold here in CT and it's bumming me out. Need the TBI to get my project energy sparked-up. Oh, wait til you see the bin (and here the engine combo vs HP/Torque numbers) I'm gonna post for 350's. Just had engine dyno run done. NICE. But, I NEED THE TBI for my next stage(s) of TBI development.

Please help!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!

You might ask Holley if their 670cfm TB for the 305 has different sized injectors than the 670cfm for the 350. Of course they have the 350 injectors screwed up so the 305's are probably the same way. Better yet ask them if they have a smaller injector than the 65lb/hr injectors and get that one if it's not too much smaller. I think Pablo said that the Holley injectors will not operate past 18 psi so too small and a lot of pressure may not work like it will on GM injectors. The 65lb/hr injctors may be too big since I'm running 14psi with my 65 lb/hr injectors on a 300hp 350. They should have smaller injectors since they make a TB unit for the 2.8L V6 motors and for the 4.3L V6 motors. The 4.3L has the same piston size as a 350 motor.

You could call and ask them about the injector size then call back and tell them you have the 85lb/hr injectors which are way too big for your mild 350 b/c if you say 305 I bet they will tell you that you should have bought the 305 TB unit and give you a harder time about exchanging them. That way when you call back the second time (and talk to a different person) you can tell them you need the 85lb/hr injectors exchanged for the ?? lb/hr injectors due to the 85lb injectors being way too rich.

Let me know what they tell you on the injector sizes available.
