Does annybody know what the top speed is on a TBI with a 5 spd and a 3.08 rear?

Also, when did they start offering CD Players on Thirdgens? Does anybody have any info on that? Or a pic? Any info is appriciated.

i believe all camaro's and firebirds equipped with the lo3 305 tbi had a chip controlled speed governor of 130 mph

 

110mph. roughly.

cd players were expensive options even way back in 87 or 88 i think.

 

I have the LO3 in my car and it stops at 115 mph. I could always disable the VSS but have no reason to. Does anyone know what the real governor speed should be. I hear people saying it stops at 110 or 130; the only thing I know is that my speedo is right on and it reads right at 115 before it stops. thanks, l8r

 

when i was stock on a bad clutch i got to 120 before mine cut off. I was in 4th at about 4800RPM. Had there not been a limiter i probably could have hit 140 in 5th.
