Removing the cat HELP!!(Its stuck)

I was taking of my cat the last night and it took me a while to get all the bolts off. I finally got all the stupid clamps loosend even the little one going into the cat which i am assuming was the o2 sensor. What i was going to do was take all the $hit out of the inside and put it back on. That cat back pipe came right off but when i pulled on the cat i realized that it was stuck on the pipe going in. I banged on it pretty hard but itwas still stuck.

So any ideas on how the hell i get it off???

spray some WD-40 in there and keep on beating. ALso, try twisting the s h i t around every once in a while. The key is that BFH though. IMO

you may also want to take a hair dryer or something and get the cat warm. this will expand tthe pipe a little and may help it get on. if that fails go buy a bigger hammer

ramming it out? i never thought that would be a good idea. ruin a perfectly good cat. well, that and wont that cause huge turbulance in your exhaust flow, or does that matter? That and how would you get all the peices out?

Well i got it off just used a screw driver and a hammer.

Usally you can pop out the screw that is on the cat but for some reason are cats dont have a screw so ill probably end up putting a straight pipe.

What is that little piece going into the cat is that the 02 sensor and i am assuming you dont need but you will get an error correct???
