350 injectors question

What are they, what do they come off of, where can I get them, and which to look for?
Oh yeah, and how much can I expect to spend. I wondered because I am planning this winter to do some work (possible 331 stroker?) and thought since it will be apart...

I was shocked to see that companies sold a taillight
set for a rustang! Since when do they have taillights????

go to your dealer. $65. or check junk yards for 350 tbi engines. $?

you are looking for injectors that have a brown and/or yellow paint mark on the mushrooms ontop of them.

Erock,

A while back, I put up a post about the 350 injectors, because they are different from GM application to GM application. I would look back in the archives, I think that it might be in the tech forum. After I put up a post, the moderator of that forum and someone else put together an application chart of what injector is in which vehicle, plus a list of part #'s and color codes...

Take the time to look for it, trust me, it'll save you later on...

remember larger injectors require custom programming

just putting in larger injectors without touching the chip will make you rich

Unless you are increasing displacement and/or running 5-10% lean on a scan tool...

I just remembered, somebody posted about a week ago that they were trying to sell some 65lbher injectors. O, wait but you want the 55's. The chart is still around here somewhere. Im still waiting on NAPA to get me the delco catalog. I think they had to print one. Rest assured however, that when i get it i will cross reference it with our gm parts computer at the dealership and get all the pn#'s,applications and flowratings.

Guys, Thanks so much for the help. I am wondering, Pablo, I do have an ADS superchip in it. Do I need a new one if I change injectors? Just wondered. I will search the archives for the answers to my questions next time before I post. I am sorry. If anyone has more information, please let me know. Thanks

Eric
