make sure you have your timing set correctly. No guessing, the only way to do it correctly is with a timing light. 10 degrees off and it could stall the car out easily. Maybe check your firing order make sure you got the wires running to the right cylinder. First check timing with a light.

Hopefully thats the only problem. The computer will adjust timing to some extent if it's a few degrees out of whack, but if it's off too far it's going to stumble when put under load, from P to D or R.

Before you set the timing, disconnect the light brown wire that runs over the left strut tower. Then once you set the timing, plug it back together. Then you should be good. If you do bump up your timing go higher each time then bump it down a one degree at a time once you hear a knock, then once you don't hear a knock just keep it there. The octance grade in the your gas tank will effect at what degree the engine will start knocking. Also you will need to run a higher octane of gas, but you will benefit with more power from your engine.

Any suggestions would help thanks.

New Fuel Pump possibly. Have a GM dealer or you can test your fuel pressure and see if it is at the right psi.
