motor swap want to keep tbi
one of my friends has a 350 sitting in their garage and i want to get rid of my 305 in favor of the 350.. it is the lo5 motor but it is still better then the lo3... i want to know will i be able to keep my tbi and just use the 350 injectors he saved? will i have to get a new chip also? i know i posted in the wrong section but i am tired of everyone saying switch to tpi

I just got a response from Chevy High Performance about this. You have to use his injectors, you will also have to change the knock sensor and the module. The chip is going to have to be changed too...

Would he need a 454 TB unit with them injectors to maybe get all the power he can out of that LO5? Hey man, while u have the block out, have u thought about putting new heads or intake on it? Maybe some 1.5 or 1.6 rockers too.

i am already going to switch to a torqer or performer imtake already on the 305 so its all good... i didnt want to have to switch my chip but thats no big deal.. thanks keep more advice coming...
